~ Dragon Age: Origins is described as the "spiritual successor" to BioWare's Baldur's Gate Series without being set within the world of Dungeons & Dragons. It was the first game developed by BioWare for the PlayStation 3.
~ DA:O features six playable origins, three playable races, three base classes, party-based gameplay (the player character and up to 3 other party members), and real-time pause-and-play tactical combat.
~ The game received 7 DLCs that added to the overall story of the game and an expansion titled Dragon Age: Origins- Awakening was released in March 2010.
