Trivia #2- Regalyan

Image
The character of Regalyan was introduced in the anime film Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker. He was a mage from the White Spire circle of Orlais. He assists the protagonist, Cassandra Pentaghast, throughout the film and helps her in rescuing the Divine. For his part in the Divine's rescue and his act of bravery, he is promoted to the role of Enchanter.  After the adventure they shared, Cassandra and Regalyan begin a relationship. They are together until the Divine Conclave held in 9:41 Dragon. Regalyan perishes in the explosion at the Temple of Sacred Ashes. Regalyan was Cassandra's first and only love (if she is not romanced by a Male Inquisitor).  He is mentioned twice during the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition. First, Cole asks Cassandra who Regalyan is. The second time is if Cassandra is romanced by a Male Inquisitor. She will mention Galyan as her only other romantic relationship.  Regalyan is voiced by J. Michael Tatum

Headcanon #2- The "Adventures of the Black Fox" Book

Image
The book, "Adventures of the Black Fox" was originally left by Danarius in what is now Fenris' Mansion but if you don't pick it up in Act 1 Fenris will give it to Hawke because he doesn't want it and he can't read it (yet). The book will turn up on a table near Sandal in the Hawke Estate after Act 2 begins. (Picture via  Nem's Art  on Tumblr)

Headcanon #1- The Mabari (Dragon Age Inquisition)

Image
The Inquisitor didn't have a Mabari Warhound as a pet because, if they had, it probably would have attacked Solas in order to protect its master since it would be able to tell who Solas really is. It would be like that story Merrill tells Hawke's Mabari in Act One about the Keeper's Mabari attacking the Dread Wolf when he came to hurt the Keeper and ending up taking the Dread Wolf's tail forcing him to stay away from the Keeper or risk attack again. Probably no one would have realized that in the beginning if the Mabari had been included and had a possible hate toward Solas because it would just be thought of as comical. But after the ending, and if you recalled Merrill's story, the pieces would have fallen into place and made sense. Couldn't risk having the plot twist revealed too early to the players because of a dog.

Hey everyone! My name is Halee, better known on here as D.A.girl_N7 (That stands for Dragon Age girl N7). I am a huge fan of the Dragon Age series! I love speculating and learning about the story, the characters, the history, and all the lore you could possibly think of. I wanted to create a space where I could post the knowledge I learn and the (possibly crazy) headcanons I create along the way. So please, join me in my crazy adventure as I look deeper into Dragon Age to learn the ins and outs of Thedas. A toast, to the journey ahead!
